SULLIA: Two students were injured in a clash between two groups at the Bellare Shivaram Karanth College over the issue of Love Jihad.
It is learnt, the act of one of the student Nazeer in xeroxing a news report on Love Jihad which in favour of the Muslim community, and distributing the same among students, had infuriated another student Mokshith who questioned Nazeer and reportedly attacked him.
Nazeer too attempted to attack Mokshith when ABVP activists appeared in the scene and attacked Nazeer. This in turn worsened the situation. The injured students Dayanand and Vighnesh have been admitted to Sullia hospital.
The issue was later on settled amicably in the local police station. It has been learnt that Mokshith and Nazeer had been good friends earlier.
