BANGALORE : The Honnali Legislator Renukacharya who since the very beginning has been identified as a dissident legislator, has before him a single point agenda-that is “Shobha Hatao.”
Renukachaya who has the habit of appearing before the press whenever differences cropped up in the BJP, did the same thing on Tuesday and said ” Shobha is a black spot on the party. The party has no future unless Shobha and the CM’s secretary Balegar are removed from thier post. Shobha herself is the main reason for all confusions.”
When asked whether he was not speaking on an issue which was very sensitive for the CM., Renukacharya said ” Can I stop telling the truth for the reason that CM will feel bad, at a time when the party is itself in grave danger?”
It was interesting to see the Sagar BJP legislator Belur Gopalkrishna and a few others joining Renukacharaya in the press meet. It may be recalled here that Renukacharya, an aspirant for a cabinet berth had to later settle for the Chairmanship of the Gold Mines Authority.
