GADAG : Revenue Minister Karunaker Reddy has indirectly compared Chief Minister Yaddyurappa to the mythological character Kamsa,at the foundation laying ceremony of a housing project for the flood affected at Madivala village in Gadag district.
Speaking on the occasion, Reddy indirectly hinting at the CM, said ” Even when Krishna gave opportunity to Kamsa in the Mahabharatha to correct his mistakes, he failed to do so, finally forcing Krishna to eliminate Kamsa. In case those who err fail to corect themseleves,then they too will meet the same fate as that of Kamsa.”
Reacting to the rift in the ruling party, Reddy said ” The talks with the Sangh Parivar so far have failed. We do not know what will happen in the future.” He also stated that he would once again meet Arun Jaitley after eliciting the opinion of BJP legislators, the Sangh Parivar leaders and the party high command.
