Bike riders killed in bus hit

UPPINANGADY : In a tragic accident reported from Manibanda in Kombaru village, two young bike riders lost their lives when their two-wheeler was knocked down by a KSRTC bus on Friday.
The deceased have been identified as Arun (23), a resident of Yashwanthapura in Bangalore and Vijay (27), a resident of Belthangady. It is learnt, the duo were returning to Bangalore after a pilgrim tour to Subrahmanya when the mishap took place. The KSRTC bus involved in the accident was operating on the Subrahmanya-Dharmasthala route.
While one of the deacesed owned a studio in Bangalore, another youth was an advocate.
