BANGALORE: It has been reliably learnt that Chief Minister BS Yaddyurappa has decided to drop his confidante Shobha Karandlaje from the cabinet in the wake of the pressure on him to drop her if he wanted to save his chair.
It has also been learnt that theCM was even thinking in terms of having a new chief secretary in place of VP Balegar. Reports said the CM has taken this decision following several complaints that have been made with senior leader Arun Jaitley by BJP leaders.
The CM is expected to announce the decision to drop Shobha and Balegar after the meeting with the high command in Delhi.
