PADUBIDRI : Padubidri police have arrested two persons in connection with the attack on notorious rowdy Jeethu at Padubidri recently. One of the arrested has been identified as Karunaker alias Karna.
It is learnt, Karna and Jeethu who were one time friends, turned enemies after Jeethu in an inebriated state attacked Karna in a bar some time back. A seriously injured Karna however survived. Though Jeethu had escaped to Mumbai later on, he was arrested when he had arrived hometown once. He was later released on bail and reportedly threatened to finish off Karna who had complained against him. On the other hand Karna too had planned to finish off Jeethu who was a threat to his life.
Meanwhile, reports said police have arrested one more person in connection with the attack.
