BANTWAL : ABVP volunteers staged a protest in the town on Saturday in protest against the newspaper reports regarding the complaint lodged by a few female students of the Bantwal Government First Grade College against them for ragging. The students had complained to the Vice Chancellor of Mangalore University, legislator of Bantwal as well as the college principal.
A total of 27 Muslim female students had complained to the VC alleging that they were subject to ragging everyday in the college. Meanwhile, students of the college question where was the need for the legislator to convene a meeting to discuss the issue on November 5 if the report was false.
