KARWAR : “State Minister Anand Asnotikar has been kidnapped!” A complaint in this regard has been registered in the Karwar town police station. The complainant is DS Praveen Kumar, State Convenor of the Dr Ambedkar Foundation.
In his complaint Praveen said that the repeated efforts to contact the minister’s office was futile with even his aides not being able to inform about the whereabouts of the minister. A visit to the minister’s house was also futile, the complaint said adding there were also rumours in the town that he has been kidnapped.
It is learnt Asnotikar who has identified himself with the Reddy faction is in some resort in Hyderabad and Goa along with other Reddy loyalists and has not returned home town for the past several days.
