MOODBIDRI : Two persons sustained injuries in a sword fight between two groups at Gundukallu near Beluvai following an old enmity.
If Ravoof belonging to one group, has been admitted to AJ Hospital, Shabana who belonged to the rival group has been admitted to Alva’s Hospital.
A complaint lodged with the police said Ravoof was attacked by Ashraf of Gundukallu and his brother Altaf when the former questioned them for reprimanding his sister in-law. On the other hand, a certain Haneefa has lodged a complaint alleging that one Mustafa who arrived at his house on Thursday night, dragged his son Ashraf out and attacked him and even his brother.
It is also said that Shabana, the daughter of Haneefa who tried to rescue her father too was attacked by the duo. A counter complaint has been lodged in this regard.
