MANGALORE : An incident in which Bhajrangdal activists raided a government hospital in Karkala and attacked a social worker who was enquiring the health of the patients, has been reported on Saturday.
The victim of Bhajrangdal attack has been identified as Henry of Pervaje. The Bhajrangdal activists alleged that Henry who arrived in the hospital during night used to make two patients in the hospital namely Ganesh and Rajashekhar render Christian prayer.The Bhajrangdal even alleged that this was a clear-cut attempt towards conversion.
However, patients in the hospital say that Henry has been visiting the hospital since the past several years and has made it a habit to enquire the health of the patients particularly when the hospital was facing shortage of staff.
