BANGALORE : It has been reliably learnt that as many as 30 MLAs of the BJP are in constant touch with Congress leaders of the state, giving hints of an all likely leadership change in the state. As of now both the Congress and the JD(S) have ventured into the task of drawing dissident BJP legislators towards them in the backdrop of the recent crisis that rocked the state BJP.
The Congress-JD(S) alliance in the MLC polls, make it clear that both these parties are interested in joining hands to form the government. It’s true that the membership strength of both these parties in the assembly is more than 100. They will not need the support of more than 15 MLAs to form a government. Both the parties are now ready with a strategy to pick-up the required number of MLAs. KPCC working president DK Shivakumar gave a hint of the same in a TV interview on Sunday.
Political observors even feel that the day is not far off for Yeddyurappa and his party colleagues to become ex.
