MANGALORE : The CanaraTimes which could get a copy of the complaint against lecturer Umeshchandra, which the students of the Mangalore University had reportedly submitted to the registrar and Vice Chancellor, and it has been found that the complaint had no signature of any student. The registrar who initiated action as per the complaint without any signature, had even served a notice to the lecturer Umeshchandra.

The notice has asked the lecturer to give a written statement in response to the complaint made by the students within a week, lest action would be taken by coming to the conclusion that he has nothing to say in the matter. The complaint copy only mentioned as aggrieved students of first and second year MCJ of Mangalore University. The absence of any signature makes it clear that the students were agitating under the influence of someone.
