Dear editor,
The efforts made by a few fascist and communal forces to ban wearing of burkha and headscarf by Muslim lady students attending schools and colleges, is regretting. The fact that the lady students of the Muslim community whose education was earlier restricted to tenth or PUC earlier, are now aspiring for higher education has become a bitter pill to swallow for the fascist forces. Probably the intention of these forces is to see that the Muslim lady students are refrained from attending schools and colleges if such a controversy is raked up. It is now upto the Muslim brethren to see that this row does not affect the academic prospects of the lady students of their community.
