Ram Sene leader accused of cheating temple

MANGALORE : A complaint has been lodged against Arun Kumar Puttila, a Rama Sene leader and the former managing committee president of Mrityunjeshwara Temple in Puttur accusing him of illegal possession of the temple assets.
The complaint lodged with the police by the temple administrative officer stated that though Arun Kumar had been removed from the post of the temple management committee on December 22 itself and the temple under the purview of the Mujrai department, Puttila had failed to return the valuables, temple keys, resolution book and other documents which were in his possession. When the Deputy Commissioner consequent upon a complaint lodged with him, directed that the documents be recovered by breaking open the temple cupboard in the presence of the Mujrai department inspector and locals, the same wad been done but nothing found, the complaint started.
The complaint has also requested for suitable action against Puttila. However Puttila was not available for contact.
