MANGALORE : The stoning of the CoDP center near Nantur in the city on Sunday morning, damaging the glass portrait of Mother Mary too has come in as a shock as the incident took place just a day ahead of the Justice Somashekhar Commission filing its interim report on the church attacks of 2009. In fact this building had been stoned even during the serial church attacks that took place in the district last year.
MP Noronha, legal counsel for the witnesses in the church attack case feels the recurrence of the church attacks reflected the failure of the state government to arrest the accused in last year’s church attack case.
