2 children among 4 attacked in Ullal ; Ban orders imposed

MANGALORE : Prohibitory orders under Section 144 have been imposed in Ullal police station limits after two stabbing incidents were reported in the area on Friday night. Two children too were attacked during the incident.
In the first incident, a person named Sandeep Putran alias Dhananjaya (27) was stabbed by unidentified assailants at Bastipadpu on Friday evening. A seriously injured Sandeep has been admitted to a private hospital. The assailants attacked him from behind while he was on way to a cricket ground near Bandikotya in Ullal. Senior police officials have rushed to the spot.
In yet another incident, one Badruddin was attacked with swords while he was returning home along with his children Shahil and Shadiya from the local madrasa as usual.
Even the children were attacked by the assailants. The incident took place near the Ullal police station.
Security has been stepped up in Ullal following the incident.
