DYFI to intensify stir against power cuts

MANGALORE : The Democratic Youth Federation has said that the Federation has decided to go in for intense agitation against the erratic power cuts, after the various protests staged earlier have proved to be of no use.
In a press communiqué, the Federation has also called upon the public to join the agitation and accused the Chief Minister of only giving false assurances of taking steps to end the power crisis. The power cuts has already hit hard the water supply situation while also affecting industries both large and small to a great extent, the DYFI said adding even students who are busy preparing for their final examinations have been put to hardship.
