Cops chargesheet cyanide killer in 1 case

MANGALORE : Police who are investigating into the over 20 cases of murders committed by the serial killer Mohan Kumar, have filed charge sheet against him in the Bantwal JMFC Court in connection with one case.
In the chargesheet, the police have said that when all murder cases pending against Mohan are investigated and reviewed, it would be proved that he had committed a punishable offence.
The charge sheet filed is in connection with the case of murder of Anitha (22) of Barimarukodi in Bantwal taluk. There are over 50 witnesses in this case, apart from several goods including cyanide and jewellery as evidences.,
Police said the CID officials who are investigating into the cases against Mohan have already gathered sufficient evidences in connection with the several murders committed by Mohan Kumar. Cases have been registered against Mohan under IPC Section 376, 327, 302 and 201.
