MANGALORE: A court in Mangalore has granted bail to the Sri Rama Sene’s State co-Convenor Prasad Attavar who was arrested recently on charges of having links with underworld don Ravi Poojari.

Attavar was arrested by the Kadri police on March 1and was charged with abetting Ravi Poojari in collection of hafta by providing details and telephone numbers of businessmen from Mangalore. Attavar was also taken into police custody twice during the period to facilitate investigation.
