PUTTUR :The State Government has ordered a CoD probe into the cases of the suspicious deaths of two students namely Mohak Kumar of Canara Engineering College of Benjan padavu and Uttappa a student of St Philomena College of Puttur.

Mohak Kumar, a resident of Udupi was found dead near the Kabaka Vidyapura mobile tower. He used to go to college from a relative’s house at Vittal. Similarly, Uttappa, a resident of Kodagu reportedly drowned in the Netravathi river at Uppinangady when he had been for a swim along with his friends.

The student community of Puttur had also demanded a thorough probe into both the suspicious deaths.
