HUBLI : An incident tin which a young woman stabbed her lover, has been reported from Kusugal in Hubli rural police station limits. The young lady name Gayatri (21) of Indura village has been arrested while her lover Jagadish has been admitted to a private hospital in Hubli.
Jagadish was working for a private firm in Hubli. Both himself and Gayatri were even maritally engaged. However in the meanwhile, Jagadish refused to marry Gayatri suspecting her fidelity and blaming her of having an affair with another youth. This infuriated Gayatri who reportedly stabbed him in his stomach.
However, Gayatri denies having stabbed her lover. She says Jagadish who stabbed himself was then blaming her. She even says he was now refusing to marry her. Hubli rural police have registered a case and are conducting the instigations.
