UDUPI : Complaints are being heard that the people arriving at the service bus stand here were greatly inconvenienced due to the haphazard parking of a few auto rickshaws in places where buses pick up passengers. This in turn has been posing the risk of accidents here many a time.
The bus drivers too find it a tedious task to move out of the bus stand due to the parking of these autorickshaws. This many a time has even led to a tussle between the bus and autorickshaw drivers, complain the public.
There is a strong demand for the traffic police to prevent autorickshaw drivers from parking in an unscientific manner close by the place where the buses pick up passenger thereby creating problems for the buses, while endangering the lives of the people.
A demand is also heard to initiate strict action against the erring autorickshaw drivers.
