MANGALORE : Ayisha who attracted international media attention through scarf controversy has finally said good bye to SVS College and has joined Hira First Grade College in Thokkottu near Ullal.
Her relatives have informed that the parents are no longer willing to send their daughter to SVS College. Even though Aiysha is keen to pursue her studies in SVS College she is no longer able to attend the classes as before due to the persistent threats from her classmates. Therefore she had to quit SVS College and join Hira college.
Initially Ayisha was attending the classes clad in Burqua. As this attracted criticism from saffronised student fraternity she switched over to scarf in place of burqua. After a few days the Principal of the college also banned her from wearing scarf. The matter was finally settled in favour of Ayisha by the VC of Mangalore University. It was also assured by the VC that all help would be provided to her should she opt for another college and also the fee collected by the SVS College would be refunded.
