UDUPI : The Udupi District Consumer Court which has registered a case against the Godrej company following a complaint by a consumer, has served a notice to the company.

Ammunje Srikar Nayak, a resident of Udupi, had purchased a Godrej automatic washing machine from Harsha in Udupi. However, when the machine did not operate satisfactorily, the company was contacted. But when the company failed to respond positively, he lodged a complaint with the Udupi District Consumer Court.
