Explosives seized near PFI office

KASARGOD: Police have seized bombs and lethal weapons from near a crematorium
near the Popular Front of India office at Choveri near Hosanagar Trikkaripura.
Explosives used in the manufacture of bombs and machetes, have been recovered from
the spot.
It is learnt police have taken two persons into custody. Police have said the PFI activists
had hidden the explosives at the crematorium after gathering hint of the raid that was
conducted on PFI office recently.
Meanwhile, police have gathered information that several youth in the area have gone
underground.
