DVS shunted to Kerala

Posted on Jul 25th, 2010 and filed under Politics.

PUTTUR : With the Udupi MP and former state BJP chief DV Sadananda Gowda
appointed as the in-charge of BJP affairs in Kerala, it can clearly be said that the
Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel has gained an upper hand in the veiled war
which was going on between the two leaders since some time.
It may be recalled here that DV had recently resigned from the post of Director of the
KMF, frustrated by the inaction of the government in granting him the KMF president
ship as promised. Now, his appointment as in-charge of party affairs in Kerala, is
believed to be an attempt to keep him away from the party affairs in the state.
It is now left to be seen how the Kerala unit of the BJP would welcome DVS who is
virtually unwanted by the State BJP.
