PUTTUR: A uniform row has cropped up in the Patrakodi Government Higher Primary

School of Kedila village after the school authorities distributed belts and ties having the

picture of Goddess Sharada in it to the students. It is learnt the school had collected a fee

of Rs 30 from the students for the same.

The complaint by parents of the students belonging to the Muslim and Christian

community is that this was a part of the saffronisation agenda. They have even planned a

protest against the school management which was forcing the students to wear the same

tie and belt.

The school, it is learnt has around 200 students belonging to the Muslim community and

also a large number of Christian students.
