BANTWAL : A case has been registered in Bantwal town police station against Suresh
Gowda, a teacher in a school at Aladi of Sajipamunnur who is facing the charges of
injuring an 11 year old student Ubaid by thrashing him.
It is learnt, the teacher thrashed Ubaid after students shouted saying ‘He left’ in Tulu, as
Gowda left the class after the end of the period. The boy who fell ill had been admitted to
Bantwal Government Hospital.
It is learnt a case has been registered against Gowda under Section 323.
