Khazi death case : CBI files preliminary report

KASARGOD : The CBI which has taken up investigation into the case of the suspicious

death of Mangalore Khazi CM Abdulla Maulvi has submitted its preliminary report to

the court.

It is learnt, the report submitted to the Ernakulam CJM Court by CBI’s Additional DySP

Nandakumar, has mentioned of the suspicion that this might be a case of murder. The

report is also learnt to have mentioned that the aged Khazi who was also weak was

unable to visit the beach which was quite away from his house, in the dark and also could

not climb the rock. It also mentioned of the post-mortem report that mentioned of the

injury on the Khazi’s body indicating use of force prior to his death.
