BANGALORE : Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa amid his busy schedule in Gulbarga
South and Kadoor constituencies in the wake of bye-elections, has secretly visited the
Kodihalli Mutt near Arasikere. It may be recalled here that the Kodi Mutt seer had a
few months ago predicted that the BJP government in the state would not last long. In
this backdrop, the CM’s hush hush visit to the Mutt, has given room for speculations.
Even opposition leaders have been time and again predicting the downfall of the BJP
government after the bye-elections. Moreover, the general belief that the internal crisis
as well as the mining row would prove the water loo of the government has raised the
apprehensions of the CM.
Even the CM’s plans to expand the cabinet, has intensified dissident activities forcing
the CM to visit the Kodi Mutt.
The involvement of the state ministers in different controversies and scams and the
governor frequently taking up cudgels against the CM, too has proved a big head ache to
the Chief Minister.
Sources revealed that the CM during his recent visit to the Mutt tried to know the future
of his government and also the measures that need to taken to tide over the crisis.
