MOODBIDRI : A hotelier who was cracking jokes at the expense of two young girls by comparing them to ‘masala dosa’ reportedly assaulted the girls and pushed them to the ground when the latter objected to his wise cracks in a hotel in Urvelpade of Karinje village.
The accused has been identified as Dennis Lobo, the owner of a hotel near Lobo Katte. Two girls – Prema and Hema were waiting for a Kateel bound bus near Lobo Katte around 11 am when the owner of the nearby hotel was reported to have said “Here comes two masala dosas’. The girls who have been mocked at in the past by this owner, feeling deeply offended by his remarks were reported to have objected to his comments. This seemed to have further provoked the owner who assaulted these girls and pushed them on to the ground. A complaint has been lodged against the hotelier.
