Citizens demand extension of pay parking

Posted on Sep 30th, 2009 and filed under General.

UDUPI : Since the present pay parking facility in Udupi occupies a narrow space of land in the heart of the city, the people coming to the town in vehicles have been facing a lot of inconveniences. The present pay park located in front of Vishwesharayya building can accommodate only 20 – 30 vehicles. The citizens complain that since the vehicles parked by some of the industrialists remain parked for the whole day, the other users hardly find any space to park their vehicles. They have demanded that the vehicles not be allowed to be parked here for the entire day.
