Mahaveera College students boycott classes

MOODBIDRI: Students of Mahaveera College here boycotted classes on Monday in protest against the all of a sudden decision of the management to appoint a new Principal for the college in place of TK Mohan.
The agitating students strongly condemned the decision of the Manipal Academy to have a new principal for the college in the midst of the academic year and alleged that this would affect the academic activities in the college.
The agitation was led by the Students Union President Puneeth. It has been learnt that the management had appointed SP Vidyakumar of the same college as the principal in place of TK Mohan, following a complaint against the latter.
