The Udupi –Chikmagalur Lok Sabha constituency unit of the Youth Congress staged a
protest in front of the Gandhi statue in the town on January 12,Thursday, against the communal
elements which hoisted the Pak flag in the Sindhagi Tahsildar’s office in Bijapur.
The Kaup MLA Lalaji Mendon is learnt to have felt greatly offended when the
Sode Mutt seer on seeing him accompany a delegation to him, asked him not to speak anything
about the Mutt, but speak only in the assembly.

Minister by asking to get in touch with district minister VS Acharya when the Pejawar seer
