LT Suvarna, General Secretary of the DK unit of the Federation of
Karnataka Auto rickshaw Drivers Union, has urged the district administration to increase
the minimum autorickshaw fares in view of the recent hike in petrol and diesel prices.
The hike in fuel prices, he said had hit hard the autorickshaw drivers who are
already reeling under problems due to the soaring price of essential commodities and
autorickshaw spare parts.
