Lokayukta Justice Santosh Hegde?s resignation and his withdrawal of resignation in
dramatic turn of events after his ?father figure? and BJP supremo LK Advani intervened,
is all history now. Many may even remember how CM Yeddyurappa along with Party
chief Nitin Gadkari had himself visited the Lokayukta at his residence and had pleaded
him to withdraw resignation. Then, the whole of state had rejoiced. Yeddyurappa then
had no other go but to make Justice Hegde withdraw his resignation in order to save
embarrassment. But today the very same Lokayukta is nothing to the government. It is
trying to create a situation that may make it inevitable for the Lokayukta to quit.
