the case. But what the Justice Somasekhara Commission which was appointed to look
into the church attack case that took place after the BJP government took charge, was

Two constables of the Puttur town police station created a scene at Kodimbadi
in Puttur where they had arrived to conduct an enquiry in connection with a land dispute.
It is learnt, the constables namely Rukmaya and Lakshminarayana, who were under the
influence of alcohol arrived at Kodimbadi when land was being leveled through a JCB
machinery for construction of the Rajeev Gandhi Seva Kendra building on behalf of the
Kodimbadi Gram Panchayat. Initially, the two cops laid their hands on the pockets of
the JCB driver and snatched his mobile phone and purse. Later, they behaved rudely and
began to abuse the GP staff and finally instructed the JCB driver to get the vehicle to the
station.
