The monthly meeting of the Udupi TMC held here on July 30, Saturday deliberated on
the several civic problems of the town, including side drain irregularities, bad roads and parking
irregularities.

A vital link road to Ujire from Uppinangady, Ilantila and Mogru village had
been developed under the Prime Minister?s Gram Sadak Yojana in the year 2008 itself. But, the
failure of the authorities to install a road sign board at a place called Kallamaada here has been

Daivasthana at Karinje to discuss the issue failed to arrive at a consensus. Villagers had then
alleged that the authorities had failed to clear their doubts on the project.

which is undertaking a survey on the ill-effects of Endosulfan, as per the Supreme Court
directive, will be submitting its report on August 5.
